Field of Light is a media company that specializes in film and video production. We strive to tell stories that are authentically human and good for the soul. We are here to serve those who desire to make media that is good, true, and beautiful.
Founder’s Message
I started Field of Light Media Productions with the belief that good art can nurture the human spirit. I have had the pleasure of working on several award winning productions and I’m a proud alumni of Indiana University where I honed my filmmaking and storytelling skills through a unique combination of disciplines.
I hold a B.A. in Film, a B.S. in Psychology, and a M.S.Ed in Mental Health Counseling. Through time spent as both a video producer and a licensed mental health clinician, I developed a deep appreciation for the courage, dignity, and complexity residing in the human spirit. One of the most profound lessons I have learned from being a clinician is that stories matter, especially the stories we tell about ourselves. Much like fire, narratives can both nurture and destroy us.
As owner and creative director, I strive to apply a uniquely relational, faithful, and psychological approach to every project Field of Light takes on. So, let’s work together to create films that connect rather than separate, inspire rather than degrade, and enlighten rather than dim.
